Yes. We have a measuring service for Marlborough and the surrounding area.Its always worth contacting us to see if we can offer a measuring service for you if you live a bit further afield. We also have a fitting service so your soft furnishings can be fitted, hung and dressed to perfection.

Yes, we have a showroom in Marlborough, Wiltshire which has a large selection of furniture from bedside cabinets to settees and many items in between. Our range is so large that we are unable to have all the items in stock but can order in many items. Feel free to contact us if you have any enquiry.

No. at the moment we do not have an actual interior design service However, our staff have a combined experience in the trade of over 120 years, so are very knowledgeable and always happy to give you some expert advice.

At D&R we don’t do any ready-made window dressings, but we do have a service of 7-10 days for which we offer a large range of fabrics, This is separate from our standard service which is usually a turnaround of approximately 4 weeks.

To be totally honest with yuom unlwess your sofa is an old favourite or is of sentimental value, it is usually more economical to buy new, We do offer a full re-upholstery service and can also supply new sofas and chairs covered in almost any fabric of your choice. Yes, you supply the measurements and well do the rest!

We only accept returns on faulty items, Items that are sold as clearance or end of rolls are non-returnable, Other items may be returned for an exchange or credit at our discretion. We cannot offer any returns on fabric that has been cut. You can read more about our returns policy here.

Most of our fabrics can be FR treated at an additional cost.Please enquire for a quote. Some of our fabrics are inherently fire retardant, and many can be ordered in pre-treated. Please contact us if you would like to discuss the different options.

We usually send all of our fabrics out on the roll, this protects them and prevents them from creasing. However, if it is a small quantity we may send it folded, if you have any preference, please let us know in the ‘order notes’ box at the checkout. All velvet fabrics are sent rolled regardless of the quantity.

Yes. We have one of the largest stocks of fabrics in the South West and a vast library of books from pretty much all known designers and brands. If you can’t see what you are looking for online, please contact us!

We have a range of trimmings in our shop and also have a vast range which we can order in. Please contact us with your requirements and we will be happy to assist.

Lead times vary depending on how busy we are when the order is placed, however, curtains usually take 3-5 weeks, Roller blinds and Venetian blinds about 2 weeks (although we can get some ranges in in just a few days), Roman blinds: 3-5 weeks. Cushions covers: 2-3 weeks. We will contact you when they are ready.

You are correct, we do not charge for fabric samples. Samples of our online fabric can be ordered on the product page, and we are able to supply fabric samples from pretty much all of the fabric companies out there (the same applies for wallpaper)! So feel free to get in touch if you would like to order any samples at all. We do politely request that you respect that this is a service we provide for our customers at a cost to ourselves, so please, only order samples of fabrics that you are serious about! 

If you need to cancel an order, please get in touch with us as soon as possible, as once a product has been cut for you, it cannot be refunded.

When your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with a tracking number on it (this may take a few hours to show the correct information.

We do try to always keep the fabrics we show on our website in stock, however, they may occasionaly need to be ordered in. If this is the case, we will let you know the lead time as soon as possible. If you would like to know this information before you place your order, you can contact us first.
