We’ve been established as a family furnishers business for over 60 years. Nestled in the heart of Wiltshire, we have a Flooring Barn and a Furnishings Barn just outside Marlborough on the A4, complete with inspirational roomsets and easy to navigate samples. Our friendly staff pride themselves in providing a high level of service, and love nothing more than helping our customers mainly based in Berkshire, Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire improve their home.

Yes. We have a measuring service for Marlborough and the surrounding area.Its always worth contacting us to see if we can offer a measuring service for you if you live a bit further afield. We also have a fitting service so your soft furnishings can be fitted, hung and dressed to perfection.

Our flooring department offers an extensive range of options, including Carpets, Amtico, Unnatural Flooring, Wood, Vinyl, and more. Yes, you supply the measurements and well do the rest!
Most of our fabrics can be FR treated at an additional cost. Please enquire for a quote. Some of our fabrics are inherently fire retardant, and many can be ordered in pre-treated. Please contact us if you would like to discuss the different options.
We usually send all of our fabrics out on the roll, this protects them and prevents them from creasing. However, if it is a small quantity we may send it folded, if you have any preference, please let us know in the ‘order notes’ box at the checkout. All velvet fabrics are sent rolled regardless of the quantity.
Yes. We have one of the largest stocks of fabrics in the South West and a vast library of books from pretty much all known designers and brands. If you can’t see what you are looking for online, please contact us!
You are correct, we do not charge for fabric samples. Samples of our online fabric can be ordered on the product page, and we are able to supply fabric samples from pretty much all of the fabric companies out there (the same applies for wallpaper)! So feel free to get in touch if you would like to order any samples at all. We do politely request that you respect that this is a service we provide for our customers at a cost to ourselves, so please, only order samples of fabrics that you are serious about!
When your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with a tracking number on it (this may take a few hours to show the correct information.
We do try to always keep the fabrics we show on our website in stock, however, they may occasionaly need to be ordered in. If this is the case, we will let you know the lead time as soon as possible. If you would like to know this information before you place your order, you can contact us first.
Interlining is an extra layer of fabric that sits between the outer fabric and the lining and is popular if you need to add weight to a lighter fabric so that the curtains hang better, and they are more effective at insulating a room. Interlining gives the curtains a full and luxurious look.
