Part-Time Window Dressing Estimator / Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Window Dressing Estimator / Surveyor to join our team on a part-time basis, replacing a long-serving and highly knowledgeable member of staff.

This is an important client-facing role requiring a confident and experienced individual who can accurately survey projects, provide expert advice, and ensure a high standard of service from initial consultation through to installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys for a wide range of window dressing products.
• Provide professional and competent advice to clients regarding suitable products, specifications, and installation requirements.
• Produce clear, accurate, and detailed survey sheets and measurements.
• Liaise effectively with the office (and installation teams where necessary) to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Take ownership of survey accuracy and be accountable for any errors or omissions.
• Maintain excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience within the window dressings, blinds, curtains, shutters, or related industry.
• Strong product knowledge and the ability to advise clients confidently on site.
• Excellent attention to detail and measurement accuracy.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive survey documentation.
• Reliable, organised, and accountable for your work.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

• Experience fitting blinds, curtains, shutters, or other window dressing products would be a significant advantage.
• Practical installation knowledge and the ability to undertake fitting work when required.

Training & Support

Our current surveyor has been with the company for many years and possesses extensive product and industry knowledge. A handover and training period will be provided, allowing the successful candidate to accompany the current surveyor, understand our procedures, and learn the standards and level of detail we expect from our surveys and client consultations.
