Inspired by Chelsea Flower Show 2026

This week is Chelsea Flower Show and we are delighted to see some of our beautiful suppliers exhibiting at the event. Royalty, famous faces, flowers and the festival of the year, RHS Chelsea Flower Show is not the event to miss.

Sanderson x Highgrove Collection is one our favourite collections this Spring/Summer 2026. Ranging from wallpaper to indoor outdoor fabric, these new patterns include The King’s Rose, which is inspired by the distinctive striped-petal flower developed for His Majesty King Charles III by David Austen Roses.

Shop the Sanderson Collections in our Furnishing Barn plus plenty more of fantastic fabric, wallpaper and trimming brands.

Another trend at Chelsea Flower show is The “Fifth Wall” and Softened Lines – a striking architectural trend this year is the softening of edges.

Whether it’s the serpentine “hand-rill” rails in the Parkinson’s UK Garden or the circular block seating in the Tate Britain Garden, rigid lines are disappearing.

A local interior designer, just down the road, Fermoie, are celebrating their new collection Tara & Salina a collection of Geometric patterns but with a ‘softer edge’.

One of our favourite pieces is the Tara green geometric cotton fabric – fantastic for an upholstery job!

We’ve moved past the single “statement plant.” 2026 is about Nature-Drenching—allowing greenery to thoughtfully take over a room. The Chelsea Flower Show’s Houseplant Studios demonstrated how to blur the line between the garden and the lounge.

Integrating plants into the architecture of the room—shelving units that double as planters and furniture arranged around large-scale indoor trees.D&R Inspiration: Use botanical print wallpapers to create a backdrop for your physical plants. Our current favorite styles include oversized leaf motifs and “living” textures like grasscloth that bring an organic feel to the walls.

This is a similar theme in the lastest Olander Collection by Colefax & Fowler, bringing oversized ‘motifs’ rather than the frilly florals.

This year’s show was all about the “repurposed aesthetic.” From recycled rubble aggregates to vintage steel, the message is clear: Quality over mass-production.
One of our favourite flooring suppliers, Alternative Flooring, have a fantastic range of ‘faux carpets’ which are made from recycled plastic to create durable indoor/outdoor rugs.
